University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP)

UTEP is the largest university in the 915 area code. UTEP is known for the diverse student population within the university (mostly hispanic). UTEP offeres bachelor's master's and doctoral degrees which gives another reason for the country to show that UTEP can get the job done in any field of school.

UTEP is a public institution that was founded in the year of 1914. As of the fall of 2020, 21,117 undergraduates were enrolled into the university. The camous reaches a large span of 421 acres, and uses a semester-based academic calendar.

Sun Bowl

The Sun Bowl is the home of the UTEP Miners football team, and also the host of the Sun Bowl game that happens during bowl season. This stadium hosts many concerts and events as well. This stadium is iconic in the way that it was built into the mountains of El Paso in the year of 1963. The stadium holds 52,000 people, located on 2701 Sun Bowl Dr, El Paso, TX 79902.

Centennial Plaza at UTEP

This plaza located in the heart of UTEP's campus that was recently constructed in 2015. It's a great place for students to hangout between classes with the Union, Psychology, Administration and Geological Sciences buildings neighboring the plaza. The plaza even offers a 130-seat amphitheater. Water features and all, a great place for everyone to check out in the city.
